Ph1l2007
Hi Guys, I am working on planning out the interior of my helmet, and I just had a simple question about fans. Where do you believe the best place to install them is for the most effective cooling? I have browsed the forums and have seen people do a number of things such as install the fans right on the frown so they take in air from the outside. I have also seen people put fans at the chin, and also inside the ring that goes around the bottom of the helmet. But yeah, I would appreciate people's 2 cents. Pictures would be helpful as well. Thanks, Phil

JohnQPS122[501st]
Yep - right over the mouth so they can suck in fresh air and blow it right at your nose and mouth: -------- Edited February 13, 2021 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2021
Mr_Vader
I tried putting them at the vents as suggested above, and I don't know if its the size of my melon or the fact that I have facial hair, but the fans couldn't spin because my face was in the way. I found that down near the chin was a bit better, but not alot of airflow. Always curious if anyone places fans on the top of the bucket facing down.
