Important message from Bolivia

A friend and one of our FISD attaches has gone missing. Many of you have prbably already seen this on facebook...
While many here fantasize about socialism, this poor man is living it.

This is for you, my non-Bolivian friends.

In my country Bolivia, our leftist/socialist President, Evo Morales, wants to assume office and power for LIFE. He has been Bolivias President since 2006 and has no plans on leaving. He broke the Bolivian Constitution by ignoring the fact that about a year ago, Bolivia voted "NO" to his re-postulation. Morales recently approved a Penal Code that prohibits the right to gather and protest freely, allowing police to ARREST YOU without a judicial order. They have arrested public figures who are against him and also, people just like you and me, who just happened to upload a video expressing their thoughts. This Penal Code intends on turning my country into a dictatorship (like Cuba and Venezuela) that steps over people's rights/freedom. Against this oppression, we have now UNITED... and with no fear, have stepped out into the streets. We are letting the INTERNATIONAL community know that we're fighting for our rights and NEED YOUR HELP IN SPREADING THE WORD AROUND THE WORLD.

Thank you and please keep us in your prayers.
PLEASE SHARE THIS...My non-Bolivian friends.

Just had a live FB chat with Joey, and he is well (well, as well as he can be).

His fathers passing has been the biggest time drain (even though it was three years ago), but he said all is well, he is OK and was thankful for the concern the Legion has for him. Has been caught up in keeping his head down politically while dealing with his dads estate.

Thanks for posting this.

Ouch - thanks for sharing.  Not sure if anyone knows, but Joey has for many years been the sole members of the Bolivian Outpost, and was one of the first EI approvals.  And, the first and last to get approved with an FX helmet (it was removed from EI shortly after). I've met him at 2 Celebrations - one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.  I am very sorry for his country - that's sad news.  I hope it will change some day.
