FIVE[501st] Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 (edited) So what is the best paint to get to make the helmet shiny and white but not "too white"? I've got Rust-Oleum Pro Enamel... and it's just really flat. Even when I spray Rust-Oleum Clear Coat on top of it it's still not ABS shiny. What method should I use or brand of paint should I use? I've read ----- But I'm hoping there's a brand and version that I can paint on without having to buff or anything else... or at least do as little of that as possible. Do I just need the Rust-Oleum Pro Enamel HIGH gloss... instead of simple 'gloss'? Or does the FUSION High Gloss look good? Any tips / suggestions / etc. would be greatly appreciated. Murray1134[501st] Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 Bit of thread stealing and necro posting here. I'm pretty much a newb when it comes to helmet painting. I've got the first coat down on my MRCE and I'm planning on hitting the second coat tomorrow. What typically works better between coats, wet sand or dry sanding? Quote
