Gap in Anovos FOTK helmet by mic

I picked up an Anovos FOTK Standard Helmet at a con and it's sent me down a rabbit hole of wanting to get into trooping.

The only issue I've seen though is that there's a gap by the mic where the helmet doesn't fully seal.
Is that an issue for 501st approval or will I need to get something like white sugru to seal it?

Prett much every standard line helmet has the gap, yours is actually one of the better ones I’ve seen.

 

Shouldn’t stop you from basic approval but it’s a good question for the DO’s in terms of L2/L3...
