Hi all,

The AM armor is really awesome! I have assembled the biceps, and forearm supports as well as lashed the top chest and back piece.  My next question is the belt.  Do I glue the white ammo packs to it?  Also where is the best placement for the thermal detonator in the back?  It velcro's together.

Thanks!

Mike

You can keep it pretty simple:

  • Ammo packs: Don’t glue them permanently to the belt. It’s better to Velcro or snap them on so you can adjust spacing, remove them for transport, or tweak fit later. A small dab of E6000 or CA is fine only if you’re 100% happy with placement.

  • Thermal detonator: Best spot is centered on the lower back. Since yours Velcros together, mount the Velcro on the belt so it sits snug against the back plate but still allows easy removal.

That setup keeps everything screen-accurate and practical for trooping.

Congrats on the progress, Mike! For most AM armor builds, the white ammo belt is typically attached to the canvas belt, often with rivets or a strong adhesive depending on the level of screen accuracy you're aiming for.
