ukswrath[Staff]
Hey Toni thank you for your patience and EIB application. Let's have a look shall we. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Beautiful job on your armor build. . At this point Andrew and myself would like to welcome you to Expert Infantry. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few areas to go over here so get to it. Starting with the neck seal. I'm sure this is just a photo issue but it looks blue, it should be back. Please let us know if we're wrong. 1. your shoulder bells should technically be touching the chest, back and shoulder covers. A simple strap adjustment should bring them closer. We know this is not always possible. We just encouraging applicants to try and bring them close as possible. Here's a screen shot reference photo. 2. There should be roughly 1/2" gap between the biceps and forearms. This is difficult to do sometimes especially if you have long arms. If you can try to reduce the gap in this area. Reference photo 3. The front arm cover strips should be facing forward aligned with with each other, your's appear to be a bit twisted. Nothing a minor adjustment can't take care of. Reference photo 4. The waist belt is a bit crooked, lower on the left side than right. It should not only be level but should also reside at or just below the ab buttons. Could be a simple attachment issue. Reference photo 5. Sniper knee attachment. As we strive for accuracy that also includes how section are attached to one another. It appears you may have had to perform some repairs where the sniper knee is attached to the shin itself. We're suggesting this area be cleaned up a bit if possible. Reference photo/s Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The only area of concern is the drop box alignment. According the the CRL they are to be aligned with the outer most edge of the waist ammo belt. Simply gluing the drop box strap to the cloth belt usually remedy's this issue. Reference photo That's it Toni. great job on your armor. Hope to see you at Centurion. ToniML[TK]
Thank you for granting me the EIB level. It wouldn't have been possible without the help of my colleagues in the SDS group. I'll get to work on the centurion level immediately.
