Alay[TK]
Looking good Alex! The only thing I see is your biceps seem to "bow" out a little from where they're sitting. Do you have a hook on the inside to catch the strap from the shoulder bell? if not that may straighten them out. Additionally, can you please post photos of your sniper knee alignment up close, as well as the fastenings of your ammo belt to your right thigh? Those are both photos that will be needed. Not necessary for EIB but would be a required change for Centurion, your side shims have a bit of a visible seam. You'll need to match up the edges on the return edge and the shim. You'll also need to go over the bit with a little ABS paste then sand it down until it sits flush. Not too hard and there's a few guides on here! You look awesome Alex, EIB should be no problem
pho[TK]
Thanks a lot for your hints Sarah. I will put them directly on my to-do list The additional pictures are uploaded and I have added them to my initial post. I have only a snap strapping on the inside of my upper arm armor. Maybe I should extend the elastic band a little bit - next point for the to-do list.
Alay[TK]
Alex, here's an example of the bicep/shoulder strap hook from my husband's armor. You can bend a scrap piece of ABS into the shape and just superglue or E6000 it to the inside of the bicep. It should help them from bowing out:
pho[TK]
Many thanks Sarah for this picture. This is quite helpful I will make some trials with ABS and Aluminium pieces for the hook. Let's see what will be the better choice for the hook

ukswrath[Staff]
Hey Alex thank you for your patience and welcome to your EI review. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: It looks like all the required submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper, congratulations! Very nice job on your build. Your attention to detail has really paid off . Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers like Sarah and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a couple areas to discuss, the first is minor and common issue we come across. The shoulder bell to chest and back plat gap should be minimal. In your case it appears a simple armor adjustment should do the trick. Rotating the bells toward your chest should even out the front and back spacing. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. We do one area that will need to be address before applying for Centurion if you choose to do so. According to the CRL there can only be one seam connecting the ab and kidney plates. If you so choose to apply for Centurion your shims will need to be molded into your kidney eliminating the seam we currently see in your photos. For level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. A single visible seam line is present. Reference photo Excellent work on your build Alex. Hope to see you at Centurion.
