1/8" try to get the ones with the white tops so that you wont have to paint them.

I used only 2 rivits in the whole suit.

 

Only on the knee plate to shin mount. My next build might have 5 total, 3 to sim the screen used ones in ESB, but that is still up in the air for Elite, I have to ask the question.

 

Bottom line, the fewer the better.

I believe that is the diameter. It's pretty much standard sizing that will work.
