gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted April 28, 2016 Report Share Posted April 28, 2016 DSS TROOP REPORT EVENT: Fanbase Collectables Family Fun Day & Force Awakens BluRay/DVD launch LOCATION: Fanbase Collectables (aka Video Ezy), Rockingham Road, Spearwood DATE: April 16th 2016 TIME: 3pm to 6pm LANDSCAPE/WEATHER: Indoors and outdoors, perfect autumn day in Perth 26 degrees Posted Image TROOPERS: TK85421 - Glen - gmrhodes13 TK10469 - Ben - BennyTK SL51164 - Stuart - DV64 Wrangler: DZ17578 - Phil - fil2k REPORT: Our imperial shuttles arrived at the local holodisk & Imperial collectables store to find a number of citizens ready and waiting to celebrate the vendor's first year of operation. Our forces were ushered into the clerical offices and prepared to meet the masses. After erecting our temporary barricades for the event, our Sith Lord, flanked by his TK security force, were greeted warmly by members of the public, and supervised the staff to ensure the correct Imperial protocols were being followed. The Emperor's policy on the tardy return of holodisks needed to be reinforced, especially in this area of the Outer Rim. TK85421 even attempted to make contact with the traitorous FN2187 using the antiquated communications array. Lord Vader even found time to seek out a momento for his grandson, before his services were required in another sector of the galaxy. Our remaining TKs performed a thorough investigation of the merchandise on offer, and to check the documents being handed out did not contain any Rebel propaganda. There also seemed to an infestation of local fauna that was tagged and released by our troopers. At the allotted time we packed down our barricades, kitted down while enjoying refreshments from the grateful owner and bid farewell to the friendly staff of Fanbase Collectables. Even the local facial pigmentation artist was excited to see the 501st Legion. CHARITY: Bright Blue - collection was handled by the store as this is their ongoing supported charity. INJURIES: Only some sore ribs from excessive hilarity. HAPPY PEOPLE: Staff and citizens were immensely excited to see our Imperial forces in their sector. A number of ladies paid particular affection to our boys in white. UNHAPPY PEOPLE: Several citizens were startled by our troopers ability to stand at attention.
