Glasses/Lenses in bucket

Recommended Posts

I have search and found some old threads about this but thought I might bring it up again and see if there are any new ideas.

I usually wear glasses, I don't have terrible eye sight and my prescription is pretty mild. But seeing as how it is hard enough to see and maneuver while suited up I am looking for a way to see better.

I have an old pair of glasses where the frames broke, so I was trying to come up with a way to mount just the lenses into the bucket. My first thoughts are just to use double sided tape or glue and stick it right on the back of the green lenses. My only worry is that the adhesive might distort the lenses if its not optically clear.

Any thoughts?

Here is what I ended up doing. I used some scrap abs to create a holder for the lenses. I put some Velcro on the back so I can take it in and out of the bucket. I just used some E6000 to glue the lenses to the holder.
