Superbee[TK]
Phil try to upload these pictures to the thread also would be very helpful to see the armor on you , fit and finish is what we're really looking for . I saw that the return edges on the forearms need to be trimmed more ( there should be none ) and also do the drop boxes slide more to the edges . Get some pictures up of you in the armor on ! I'm sure you'll get a lot more feedback that way , Plus you will need them for submission pictures .
Pledford[TK]
Ok thanks. About the forearms. ..if I cut more return edge back it may cut into the intended notches that are down the side. Is that ok? Pledford[TK]
My worry is that if I trim more off of the forearms then I will cut into the notches Ā Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Airborne Trooper[501st]
You're suppose to remove some in the notches on the wrist side. What you have there is still considered return edge.Ā
Pledford[TK]
But am I supposed to have 12 notches or is that not set in stone? Ā Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Airborne Trooper[501st]
What I mean is you have a lot of return edge on the bottom on the wrist end. Ā
Pledford[TK]
Gottcha....I will trim and repost pics. Thanks for the feedback!! Ā Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Pledford[TK]
So is there a better way to keep the thighs from sagging? Right now they are touching my knees which makes it hard to walk. I have elastic with snaps attached to the inside of the abs. Airborne Trooper[501st]
Hike them up as high as you can. I'm a 5' 5" trooper so I had to trim my tops.Ā
Pledford[TK]
Ok. So I will need to fix the snaps so that they will stay hiked up I guess.....these snaps are killing me! Ā Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

I have to get the shoulder bells closer, and hike up the thighs. The forearms still feel uncomfortable on me. I don't have much wrist mobility. <br> I tried walking up and down stairs. I did it but it was a real struggle.....which can't be right.

Airborne Trooper[501st]
Did you cut out a notch in the back of the thighs? I can't go up and down stairs without a little creativity even with my modifications. It's doable just not preferable in my situation.Ā
Pledford[TK]
I did not yet. Wasn't sure if that was acceptable or not Ā Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Airborne Trooper[501st]
Watch this scene and you can see some troopers with the notch. Oh, and the trooper with the calf piece not even connected lol. Once you build armor you can point out all the imperfections in the movie that you otherwise would never have noticed. Now a days everything is looked at with a microscope so "mistakes" like these don't happen as often. I personally think it's another reason that makes Star Wars so great.Ā Edited March 11, 2016 by Airborne Trooper

Pledford[TK]
I know. It's killing me! Maybe there is a way to look at my photo bucket by accessing other postes. I have realized that I have lots to trim off of the thighs to have more mobility....but would love to have someone else take a look Ā Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
C0bra_M3nace[TK]
You should also be doing your fitting with your undersuit on! You'll get a much better idea of the fit and feel.
