Shim ends

Recommended Posts

Are all of the cover strip ends to be flush with the piece edges for every part? I was asking around and I was told that the red line in this image is the correct way. But I was told for the forearm and I would like to know what the case is for the rest of the armor

Edit: my bad not shims but the cover strips! Couldn't figure out how to edit the topic title

You may want to check out the reference picture section. Not here are several shots that show some of the original suits. I'm on a mobile device so this is the best I can do for now.
Remember if you are going to wear this you don't want any sharp corners or edges that could snag your under suit or worse hurt you.
