Pledford[TK] Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Ok so I have ordered AM 2.0 kit and excited about starting my 1st build. I feel that I am getting a good quality product as I went with a vetted seller however I see the term "recast" thrown around on this forum quite a bit and I'm sort of embarrassed to say that I'm not really entirely sure what that means. Can someone give me a quick explanation of this term? Thanks guys. Quote
TK 2759[501st] Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 You ordered a kit, instead of making a build from it, you use it to make your own moulds, and make armour for others from it... Without modifications. This is what is known as a recast, and theft of a product. 4 Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) Perfect explanation from Dan, there, Phil, and I am sure you will be happy with the AM kit. They have upgraded the chest and back pieces, so now you can make it to EIB and then Centurion with this armor without having to replace them like I did. Pledford[TK] Posted January 28, 2016 Author Report Posted January 28, 2016 Thanks guys. Makes sense now. Sucks that people would do that. Quote
