To Paint or Not to Paint

Hi all - question,

 

I have an AP kit that I am putting together (thanks to all the great guides on this forum). One thing I am having trouble finding a definitive answer on is painting. In general, should I paint the armor - or the bucket, or both. Or is the finish already good enough?

 

I think I can readily find details on what kind of paint, color, etc...

There really isn't a good reason to paint ABS armor.
