Anyone know how to set up the voice amplifier from trooperbay?

I bought one a while back while getting some other things from there site and I'm not sure how to set it up.

 

Really hope I didn't make a mistake buying it.

I have an Icomm, but set up looks like it would be about the same.  Mount the speaker in your chest.  I have seen some mount it in the ab section as well.  I used Velcro to hold it in place for easy removal after trooping. I have had no trouble with it moving or coming loose while trooping.  Run the wire up through you neck seal, then to your bucket.

Ya I get all the physical set up, just wondering how to get the sound out of it. Right now it just sounds like a speaker if you know what I mean, not static like the troopers had from ANH.

If you don't have an ICOMM or something similar between the mic and the speaker you won't get the static breaks and distortion.
