TKyle Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 I am new around these parts, and I wanted to consult some of the taller troopers about what armor or armors would be best for me. I'm 6' 2" and about 205 lbs. 42" chest 36" waist. I like the RS armor, but i'm worried it will look wrong due to my height. RT-Mod seems a little less accessible, but maybe the way to go. Thoughts? Squeaky[TK] Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) welcome Kyle the trooper in the middle (tallest) is wearing RS and he is 6'2" or more. i am wearing RS to his left (right of him in the picture). i am the standard stormtrooper height of 5'9". --------- here we are again. tall RS on the left, me (RS) on the far right. -------------- as a taller trooper you will naturally have more black at the knees and above the thighs. not sure if the RT-MOD has longer leg sections. the RS kit has large shoulder bells (as seen on screen) and this will reduce the black at the shoulders which is common for larger troopers. It looks like height really doesn't pose an issue for the RS-Mod. Do you know what approval level (I.E. centurion) your tall trooper buddy is at? Does the spacing pose issues on that front? Quote
FNGmacaroni[501st] Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 Spacing between knee and thigh won't be an issue for EIB or Centurion. I had quite a few emails with RS regarding height being that I'm 6'4" and they didn't seem to worry. As far as RT goes, he is not taking orders currently as he is booked through the end of the year.
