cdhipp Posted April 15, 2015 Report Posted April 15, 2015 Hello all. I am currently working on my biceps. I have cut them to fit my biceps. My question is, how big should my cover strips be? They are cut for a 1" strip, but I think that's too big. Please help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

cdhipp Posted April 15, 2015 Author Report Posted April 15, 2015 The typical 15 mm strips will be too small..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
cdhipp Posted April 16, 2015 Author Report Posted April 16, 2015 Or is it okay to use the 15 mm strips and have white space on either side? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Mutter Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 The typical 15 mm strips will be too small..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Why would that be too small? That's the size it should be. There should be no white space/raised ridge on either side. Are the biceps too small for you arms? Quote
87ninefiveone Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 (edited) The steer I've seen posted before is that the front cover strips should always be 15mm and the rear strips can be whatever thickness is needed to make them fit. During my build I did the biceps first as is so often recommended and what I found was that being fairly tall my initial placement of the biceps was too high (as in the biceps may not necessarily be right on your biceps). If you move the placement down closer to the elbow where they should be on the final build you'll likely find that you can take 5-10mm off of the rear cover strips due to the reduced circumference of your lower biceps. I think I went from a 25mm cover strip in the rear to having 15mm front and 20mm rear with that adjustment. Edited April 16, 2015 by 87ninefiveone Quote
cdhipp Posted April 16, 2015 Author Report Posted April 16, 2015 It's mostly my right bicep. I workout and have larger biceps. I think I'll just make the adjustments in the rear. Thanks for the advice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
