charlesnarles
Darth Aloha has the tutorial, but his is for a scuff. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19398-howto-use-novus-plastic-polish-12-and-3-ah-ah-ah-i-love-counting/ Anyone had success removing cuts with Novus or another product/technique? Thanks all
DarkTrooper[TK]
an actual cut through the plastic? I don't think Novus would cure that. The cut needs to be filled and bonded back together. Maybe a small amount of acetone, like a drop or two. Then take very fine sand paper to wet sand it smooth. Then use the novus method to buff the scratches. Khazid[TK]
I would use a clear styrene abs glue, something similar to Pro Weld. It isn't as harsh as acetone, which might dissolve too much of the surrounding area. It sets up in like 10 seconds and would help fill in some shallow cuts, deeper ones with multiple applications. After that, sand it smooth and use novus to polish it up. I use Pro Weld on plastic model kits, its better than the testors glue as it sets up so much faster. It happens to work on ABS as well
