jason.sgtski[501st] Posted April 26, 2015 Report Share Posted April 26, 2015 After seeing the lost foam casting with a DIY foundry and aluminum cans, it looks like it may be cost effective if you can get people to save cans for you and you can sculpt the bucks from foam. My partner and I are considering it for our next project. Gotta make sure the foam sculpts are dead on or REALLY close. reshaping a solid aluminum mold will really suck.
