That style of helmet was molded after an early brand of armor that was around the Legion many years ago. Although many troopers use similar helmets, they were considered grand fathered in at the time the updated 501st regulation was passed. This type of helmet, sadly, is no longer accepted for 501 st approval. Don't mention 501st in the auction, as Tolo and Gaz have said this isn't approvable so any mention of the 501st will leave you open to a claim down the line.
