TK21029[TK]
I was hoping someone has experience removing a small area of ABS glue from the front of my helmet. I have rubbed with a rag but not going away. Any help would be appreciated!
gazmosis[501st]
Did you get all the glue off for sure and you're just left with a "burn" Mark?
TK21029[TK]
Yes it appears so.... It just looks like a "not shiny " area... Sent from a galaxy far far away Edited February 15, 2015 by JedIinTraining
fuumantroop[TK]
To really remove any type of CA glue, what I do is just sand it down with some 400 grit sandpaper, then some 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper(sanding it after dipping the sandpaper in a bit of water), then after that, i use all 3 stages of Novus polish(may be overkill but I am not taking chances), and keep rubbing it in until all of the scratch marks are gone. It takes a bit of elbow grease, but it works. I would imagine this method will work for ABS glue as well although I have not tested this just yet. TK21029[TK]
Just added the Novus Polish to my Amazon cart. Fingers crossed. Should have it next week. Thanks Sent from a galaxy far far away
Mutter[TK]
I'd recommend using E6000. Holds strong and easy to fix mistakes.
