atin-verda Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 Hi there am based in Brighton UK came across this on eBay is it ok or really not worth the money ?http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=261718799380&alt=web Quote
Nagedzi[TK] Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 Personally, I would avoid buying any FX armour. It's not a ridiculous price for built armour, it's just that at this point in our hobby there are loads of better vendors out there. Armour from any of the approved vendors would be significantly more accurate than this one. Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 Hi Matt. Not worth the money in any way. There is much better armor out there that will look and fit better with less work than you'll need to get that FX suit reworked. Plus you'll never get approved in the 501st in the UK with that armor. They're (rightfully) very picky. -Eric Quote
atin-verda Posted January 3, 2015 Author Report Posted January 3, 2015 Yeah that's what my gut was telling me . Can you guys recommend a UK builder ? Quote
JohnnyChaos Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 There's a stickied armour builders thread about here somewhere with a couple of UK builders. CFO and RS Propmasters. Have you joined the UK garrison forum too? The armourers there are helpful in giving advice. Im new here and there too and just starting to build my armour and gone CFO Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 UK armor makers? RS and TM come to mind. I suggest signing up on the UK Garrison's forums and let their official armorers (look to the Billy Haggis) help you choose. I'm pretty sure there are other vendors in the UK that aren't popular here on FISD. -Eric Quote
