TK Rome[501st]
Fresh faced punk here waiting for my armor to come in but I have a noob question, how do you keep every bit of armor from falling off? Specifically the Cod piece? What keeps the thighs and shins in place? What about the the bicep and a and kidney plates? This is probably the most overwhelming part of the outfit for me (besides actually building the thing!) Any help is greatly appreciated. PGHtoolman
Check out this build. Tim has done an awesome job with his strapping. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27561-a-slightly-disheveled-medium-and-a-pristine-big-brown-box-arrived-today-darks-rt-mod-anh-hero-and-stunt-build-thread/page-11?hl=%2Bstrapping#entry354659
bzb
^^ Read a bunch of the build threads and you'll see how everything is put together with straps, snaps, velcro, and glued elastic. On most builds, the only thing that's "externally" attached are the thighs, typically to a belt via elastic loops. drscifi[TK]
I use this method for mine. Works like a charm. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/293-howto-garter-for-thighs/ 3" black elastic around the waist and makes V's to your thighs. He has lots of pictures.
