Buzzard[501st]
Okay, I'm looking at the shin pieces in my NE kit and I'm not sure which are for my left leg and which are for my right... I'm figuring a wide piece goes with a thin piece but left and right? Can someone confirm which is correct? Thank you in advance. SCTrooper[TK]
The parts with the lower inner curve are the inner pieces. Your last photo the parts are paired correctly. The orange one is the left and the green is the right

mr_speed[TK]
I'm also working on NE armor. Does it really matter which shin is left or right? Also, should the return edges be left on the top and bottom of the shins?
maxsteele[TK]
I cannot answer your first question. As for your second, you want to remove the return edges at the bottom of the shins. If you don't, they will chew up your boots and sizing will be off. I have not seen anything that says to remove or shorten the return edge at the top of the shins, so I am leaving mine alone for now. Also, should the return edges be left on the top and bottom of the shins? They wont look right if there on the wrong legs, there is an inner part and an outer part to each leg. Most people won't even notice. I put my shoe on the wrong foot sometimes.
