I'm currently building an NE kit and there is a problem with the helmet. As you can see in the pictures below, the notch used to line up the top of the helmet with the backplate creates a ridge that sits away from the faceplate. What I am thinking of doing is cutting out a notch in my ear to match this ridge so that the ear will sit snugly against both parts of the helmet, like so: Once installed, the black helmet trim will cover the notch so that it is not noticable. Can I get opinions on this, please? I want to go Centurion and I don't think this will cause me any problems but I'm checking first...

Okay, I'm looking at the shin pieces in my NE kit and I'm not sure which are for my left leg and which are for my right... I'm figuring a wide piece goes with a thin piece but left and right? Can someone confirm which is correct? Thank you in advance.

Hi guys! Buzzard here, from the Redback Garrison in Queensland, Australia. I've just recently purchased a set of NE armour and will be building this up as a stunt version. I am aiming to go Centurion with this. I'll spare you the obligatory unopened box and layed-out armour pictures and get right down to it. The bucket is bigger than the one I currently have and I am extremely happy about this as mine is quite tight on me. I've trimmed out the teeth and roughly cut out the back plate for the ears. I've also glued the backplate into the cap. No pic yet. Tomorrow, I'm planning on trimming the ears properly and fitting them, then painting the hovi mics. Cheers!
