TK ANH Stunt tube stripes help

Recommended Posts

My helmet is almost done, everything was going smoothly until I goofed on the tube stripes and put them on backwards. Obviously I'm going to have to peel them off and put on a new set. Here is my question though:

I happen to have an extra set of tube stripes that I ordered from trooperbay before I got my build, they are a bit thicker than the stunt tube stripes provided, and I also recieved a set of Hero decals with the helmet as well.

The ones I had previously are on the left and the ones on the right are the hero stripes that came with the kit.

The hero stripes that I recieved are thicker than the stunt stripes I recieved with the kit, and the ones I have just lying around are thicker than both of those stripes. I checked the CRL over on 501st.com and I didn't see anything about tube stripe thickness just as long as it's between 9 and 13 stripes which it should be once on the helmet.

So would I be alright to use either of these sets of decals to replace the stunt ones I screwed up? Or did I just miss a line that said something about how thick the tube stripes should be?
I'm hoping for a quick response as I wanted to have my armor done in time to bring it to a convention to show my friends here in the next two weeks so if I need to get in contact with the maker of my kit to have new ones shipped out I need to do it soon or I'm not going to have the tube stripes in time.

Thanks in advance for any help.

They both look fine to me. There was a good deal of variation in ANH helmets since the tube stripes were originally painted on (unlike the other two films). I say pick one set and go for it.
