Hi, all. Sorry for posting so much lately, but this has somehow turned into a super speed build!

Anyway, my dritz snap tool came with four brass colored snaps. I have set these ones aside so tha ti could ask the forum whether the exposed snaps on the butt and side of kidney should be silver or brassy to match the split rivets.

Any advice is good advice!

The butt snaps look more silver & the side one looks more brassy to me. Thats just my opinion though. Not sure thats 100% accurate. lol. Could be just the way mine turned out.

With all this pestering, my suit is going to be FREAKISHLY accurate haha. THanks for that unexpected answer. Any reference images that support this theory?

NOTE: I am going for ANH hero. Han's suit specifically.

Here's some great pics in the photo reference section. Now that I see them, I think they look more silver all around. I think the suit pictured with the rivets is Luke's, but I'm not positive ----------

Silver. It's the single crotch split rivet that is brass.

Guess I had that backwards. lol.

The ab->kidney split rivets are also mostly brass. There were variances between which rivets were used, but most are plain solid head brass.

Only the two butt snaps are silver. All others are brass. The ab and kidney rivets are even brass, painted white.

Edit: I realize I wasn't very clear. By all others I was talking about the split rivets. All snaps are "silver", and all split rivets brass (unless of a variance yet to be identified).

Well, that's good to know! The snap tool came with four silver snaps and all the rest I have are brassy. I'll use the brassy ones all over the inside where no one can see and use three of the four silver ones for the butt and side. Thank you!
