Mayhem75[TK]
Question - Is it acceptable to have this large of a gap between the ab and kidney plate? (I am working to reduce this gap) This gap is about 3 to 3.5 inches. Any opinions, suggestions, comments are welcome. Thanks Mike
captsafe66[Admin]
You can add shims, you can either use a sheet of abs or what I did, cut the shims out of an extra kidney plate.
bigironvault
In short, use some shims.
theisaac
I used a "for sale" sign I got from home dept. Get a one-sided sign and cut it to fit each side. I held the ab and kidney together. Measured the left over gap. divide by 2 and thats how much gap you will need to cover on each side. Add an inch on each side to give you some overlap and you are good to go. Good luck. Isaac
Mayhem75[TK]
OK sounds like shimming is the way to go. Thanks for all the comments. Isaac would you be able to send me some pictures of your set up? Thanks again all Mike
