"American Dream" - Kids superhero party!

Recommended Posts

Our local mall has been trying to find some fun stuff to do where the old "Borders" used to be. I miss that store...but that is another story! They have been doing a superhero theme this summer, with a cool little ride for the kids and other neat stuff like a replica bat mobile. Today they had a kids costume superhero party! As you guys know, many of our 501st crew have a few different looks. They only wanted "good guys", so that limited who could make it. Our ironman is at Comic Con too, so he was out. I decided Ms Marvel might be too "cheeky" for the kids, so I went ahead and finished up my "American Dream" look for this one. It was a fun time, the kids loved it! There was a great clown comedian, along with free cake, and free photos. Local comic artists were on hand making some one of a kind treasures, and teaching how to draw.

Here are the photos!

Everybody looks great, Julie! Looks like it was a great event. I especially like the traditional Captain America!

But that Vader... :vomit-into-the-toilet:

Um yes...the vader was talking to some of the 501st guys about what he would need to do for approval. They were very nice and explained the standards :) And Capt America is a real soldier too. He really had the military swagger down! Guys in white armor :tkreal: are my fav, but I do like a man in uniform! :engel::wub:
