AM helmets and EIB

Hi guys

 

Now I know that the FX helmet is not acceptable for EIB and the AM helmet is essentially the FX helmet with a modified dome so I have always just assumed that the AM helmet is a no go for EIB but I was wondering if I am making the correct assumption there?

 

What got me wondering was the change to the CRL that specifically mentions the AM shins and yet the helmet section still just specifies the FX helmet as being unacceptable for EIB.

 

So..... in case my rambling has confused people, is the AM helmet acceptable (with the correct mic tips added) for EIB?

I'd think you might be assuming correctly when you say it's a no-go for the same reasons as FX.

 

But it isn't on the CRL's "not allowed" list...

You are correct. The AM helmet, while (barely) acceptable for basic 501st approval, is not acceptable for Expert Infantry and/or Centurion.
