I have printed out a variety of snap systems and there is a variety. Is it recommend to run an elastic piece from the chest piece to the back piece or leave it not connected? If yes, one or two straps for cehst to back?

On the ab piece to the lower back piece, I saw one photo that had 2 one inch strips and another had 3 one inch strips. Is two sufficient?

Thanks,

Your question of running chest to back is slightly odd to me.

For the chest to back I have one webbing strap that runs under each ribbed plastic shoulder straps. I have two elastic straps that run from the chest to the ab plate to hold them together. Does not need straps running from chest to back under arms across your side like a lot of people do.

You can see here how the webbing straps mount to the chest. When I put the armor on I snap the left side to teh back plate and slip on then snap the right shoulder strap to the back. The ribbed shoulder straps are mounted permanently to the chest and are free floating in the back.

Here is how my webbing straps work for the chest to back under the shoulder straps.

Here you can see the elastic straps that run from the chest to ab holding the chest in place.
