TK:TK Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Turns out that I might wear my TK armour for a Halloween party and when taking the kids trick-or-treating. In the event that I run into a Darth Vader, what should I do? Do stormtroopers salute? And how what does it look like? When watching ANH, all I noticed is that the stormtroopers stand at "extra-attention" when Vader enters. There must be something else, though. Your thoughts?... Quote

TK4999[TK] Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 For some reason, Lucas chose (either by omission or commission) to not have the stormtroopers demonstrate any form of formal salute. However, I usually salute any kid in a Vader, clone, or stormtrooper costume. They seem to get a kick out of it that they are singled out and acknowledged as "one of us." This past weekend and next weekend, we are trooping at a fundraiser for Como Zoo in St Paul, and all the kids are in costume, so it is a blast! Quote
