HELMET MAKERS? BUILDER BEWARE READ IMMEDEATLY!!!!!

i was in my garage working on my helmet, and since it is mesquito season i was wearing OFF! ACTIVE ( orange can) and as i was working i noticed that the ABS shavings had collected where my arms were, and upon wiping them off i noticed it had becom rough instead of being glossy. I urgently used windex and it helped alot but when a light shines on it you can see the remainting rough patch!!!!!! IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO REPAIR THIS WITH SOME POLISH OR WHATEVER PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!
