Long time fan, first time builder.

Hey everyone, Rob2D2 here, I am just getting started with this and I have been to afraid to get to in-depth, because I am a bit of a perfectionist. But with talking to a good friend of mine, who is already involved in this community, I have decided to give it a shoot to get as much help as I can. And hopefully not get to frustrated and give up, as i have done with many projects in the past. Not this time though! I should have photos and explanations as to what i am doing in them starting this weekend.

The best advice i can ask for now is where to start, i have a lot of work ahead of me and I would love to start off on the right foot.

Look at screenshots from the film and build threads on this forum. Research where you're supposed to cut, then cut. Have no fear. Well, you can fear blades cause I cut my finger tip off - so BE CAREFUL! Building your TK is a goal you'll want to complete because of all the fun you're going to have. Good luck, start this build thread, and have at you!

Hey every one, sorry for the enormous gap in posts, life has been getting in the way of me working on my build at all. However I have received my boots, From TK boots, and they fit as well as any boot i have ever bought, they are awesome. And I have revived my belt and helmet fan as well. just would like to get back to doing something i want to rather than studying every night. I will post the vary next opportunity I get to work on it, and hopefully learn how to link photos to ask for a bit more help.

To link photos you need to get a Photobucket or Flickr account, then upload the photos to it.

Once you have done that, click the Image button (Figure 1), then copy the URL from Photobucket/Flickr (Figure 2) and paste it into the box shown in figure 3.

You will then need to remove part of the URL, as it stops it from being posted as an image. You ned to remove the part that says ?action=view&current= (Figure 4).
