501st policy on armor neglect?

I've been unable to find any exact details regarding it, but what is the general policy if any (or is it more of a garrison thing level thing?) regarding people neglecting their armor and still qualifying to go to 501st events.

 

Example: You fully meet requirements to join 501st and then let your suit go into disrepair over the next 11.9 months and then pull it out and put a few patches on it an hour before your yearly event.

I would belive that the 501st would depend on the Garrison to uphold the standards. So I would think it would be Garrison level.

Yeah, there's no Legion level policy. It's up to the GML to monitor that sort of thing.
