JEDISTAR[TK] Posted March 20, 2011 Report Share Posted March 20, 2011 FELLOW TROOPERS, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS BOUGHT ARMOR FROM ONE VENDOR AND A HELMET FROM ANOTHER VENDOR AND DO THEY MATCH UP AS FAR AS COLOR GOES? I BOUGHT A LID OFF E-BAY( I KNOW I SHOULD'NT HAVE) I'M INTERESTED IN A T/MC KIT AND MY HELMET IS A VT. I WAS WONDERING HOW CLOSE THEY'LL MATCH OR BE WAY NOTICEABLY OFF? I APPRECIATE THE INPUT. Laspector[TK] Posted March 21, 2011 Report Share Posted March 21, 2011 With some of the armor it has to with flash photography. I have the MR helmet and to the naked eye or non flash photography it looks the same shade as my armor. BUT with a flash there is a definite difference in color. Not sure why that happens?
