Rustoleum or Krylon

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys and gals

I need to build a hasbro blaster, and was wondering, which paint is best to use.

I Gloss or matt black? I would prefer rustoleum, but if i cant find that, i will need to buy Krylon

I notice that a coat of Silver is needed and then rust color for the scope before i put the black paint on?

thanks for your kind advice.

I used a textured black spray paint (by Rustoleum) on my E-11. And I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Was the textured paint the rustoleum hammer finish? If so, I love that stuff.

I usually do textured silver with flat black over it. I like the surface the hammer finish silver leaves, but like the color/finish of flat black better.

No, it's not the hammered stuff. this stuff has more grit to it, and the hammered stuff has a glossier finish.

I'll see if I can find the can I used and take a shot of it.
