With the right construction, any suit can be made to fit just about anyone. The AM would work fine for you and may need a good amount of trimming. The helmet is acceptable for the 501st I believe, but not for EIB. There are plenty of vendors for more accurate helmets here on the forums.

it is possible to modify the helmet to make it acceptable... but why would you want to? get a better helmet say an ap i think he has some seconds for sale right now, or get an ata lid for cheap

I think AM armor is too large for you, 175 lbs is very thin. you should be able to fit

into a 'screen accurate' version of armor.

look at the following makers

ATA, AP, TM, and then finally at AM.

AM armor is for people 6' + tall, and 210-240 lbs.

your size around your torso is the only element you'd want to consider, in making armor at your height.

and if you're 175 lbs then you're thin enough to wear better armor.

AM is for really large people, not just tall people.

you'd probably have to cut off INCHES of plastic all around to get it to look right.

better to get a more accurate suit to begin with, than to buy cheap and then

have to mod, and cut ton's off.

my 2 cents!

panda has done some really excellent work, and the AM kit

is like getting a large sized excellent start at

modeling your own variation on the basic shape of a

suit of armor.

I just think that it's a lot better if a person can look

more closely at the size of a stormtrooper and you can clearly

see that there are some tall and thin troopers

in the film.

if you can afford the more accurate armor from the start, it makes

it easier in the long run. if you're looking to do a lot of

extra detail work that can be part of your decision as well.

I mean, if you've seen the TM armor that's been coming out recently then

you'll probably want to go all the way!

it's worth it... AM armor is fine if you have a large set of arms and shoulders, and

more of a barrel shaped torso.
