Imperial Officers.... I'm Confused!

Hey just wondering if there are any definitive guides out there on the colour/ranking system for Imperial officers. I can't make head or tale of it!

I was thinking of just picking a character from the Original trilogy (General Veers?) and trying to copy exactly what they are wearing so as not to have to generalise and end up with a mish-mash

of officers.

 

Any suggestions?
