Looking for a black FX kit for a TX build

Looking to get a black tk kit. No helmet. A FX kit or any other kit is acceptable to me.

 

I looked thru the Armor maker list and Im not sure which maker to email.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Geoff - the only people I know currently doing black plastic is ATA (SuperTrooper) & CAP-W (Scootch). Both are HIPS.

 

You can ping Deckard or TrooperMaster to see if AM is willing to pull black ABS - so far I don't believe they are.

 

FX molds are retired, so if you see any and it's not a personal suit check to see if it's recast (as it probably is).

I've been sitting on this set of armor for a while now debating whether to sell it or whether to build it up for myself. Knowing that no one in making this anymore makes me want to hold on to it even more, but I'm just not sure it would get much wear with all of the other costumes I already have in rotation. PM me with a generous offer if you're interested .

 

This is a partially assembled set of FX TX armor. The helmet is assembled, but one of the lenses and an ear cap need to be re-attached with hot glue. The armor pieces themselves are un-modified and were attached with the stock velcro by the original owner. Most of the velcro is coming loose, which is for the best. There may be some sticky residue you have to clean up, but you can basically consider the armor to be in kit form. The kit also includes size extra small gloves and size 11 boots.
