Windshield Wiper T-Rail?

I will be getting the DoopyDoos Pipe Building E-11 kit soon, but I'll be needing some T-Rails. I was wondering if anyone has ever used the ruber strip in car windshield wipers as T-rails, it would save me twenty bucks haha

I thought I read somewhere that the original T rails were car windshield wiper blades.

I actually thought the original T-tracks were plastic cabinent "rails" - can someone confirm?

I have used them in a past build. I thought they looked great. I'll try to find a picture.
