I've gotten mine in and have only tested with the pre-installed mic -- bad feedback at high volume. For the most part though it wasn't bad. I walked to the back of my house and talked and wife could hear me fine. I don't know about the distortion as I couldn't really make out the sound of the amp over my own voice resonating in the helmet. My wife said it sounded as though I was talking normally without the helmet on. Interested to find out if I just got lucky

Same one I bought too (you bought right after I did I guess since there were 15 left after i ordered) Smitty - Thanks for linking me to that seller. I thought about buying as many as I could afford to ensure they went straight to 501st guys, but it seems like that's what they're doing now anyway. Looking forward to getting the wireless kit and cracking them both open to try and make this wireless. *eventually*

I'm going to order a pair from stomper... but I was thinking that surely someone has some advice on how to make them yourself as well... what aerator is the best to purchase from say lowes or online? I went and looked and memory didn't serve me right so I left them alone... lol. Situation I'm in.. I took mine off my helmet because one of the screens was upside down, I tried to get it out but to no avail. They sat on the counter for a while and wife asked if I needed them anymore - I'm sure I told her that I was going to order a pair and they ended up tossed out. So here I sit - almost finished with my build (just a couple more pieces to go) and realized "hey I don't have aerators anymore" lol. I wanna make sure when I get one that I'm getting the right size to look appropriate until stomper's gets here.

I talked with her a bit earlier today - waiting for bill on paypal to get one ordered. Looking forward to it - she was a pleasure to deal with so far.

Looking to find a good boot for a big foot (caboot won't work ) and I'm hoping someone here's got experience with a big foot. I'm in a 15 in most shoes - sketchers though are 14s and can be comfortable. If you've got experience and know one that'd fit comfortably and work - lemme know!
