  1. yes it does work,i have done this repair on mine a couple of times ,the motor trade use this as a standard repair on the inside of a crack on a plastic bumper ..it would be heat welded on a bumper ,but superglue is fine and will have more than enough strength on your armour ,its better to reinforce it now before it gets worse, hope this helps.... Bigred TK3257 UKG
  2. i also carry small various shapes of off cut abs this allows strengthning of any cracks or damage from inside the armour, putting a piece of abs across the crack shifts the loading on the crack.....i learnt this from reparing car bumpers on a plastic repair course
  3. its now $52 dollars postage to the uk.......doubling the price, and then we get hit for inport duty when they arrive
  4. try your local tool hire shop, they very often sell a cheap hard hat for a few pounds, they have a slide adjuster instead of a knob i us them in all my helmet builds including the godzilla tusken head
  5. if you buy a lid where the plastic is quite thin you should paint it white first inside this will decrease the opacity of the plastic, this will inturn stop the black paint from making the plastic looking to dark from the outside i have just done this on a helmet recently ,at first the black paint made my helmet look grey against my armour,so i painted it white first on the inside, let this dry then painted over this with the black...job sorted hope this may help someone.....
  6. this is my first post and look round so hi everyone.......i am gobsmacked by this and i want a set as well..... looks like you will be able to retire just off your order list already
