  1. Vintage 6-digit Hengstlers

These have an H logo (not shown) instead of the correct eagle logo.

The socket is black plastic instead of metal and does not have the square hole for the logo to show through.

I think these are actually timers, not counters. The outside is exactly the same except for the two rightmost digits are red on white background. They are in excellent condition.

They are $20 each plus shipping.

Shipping in the US is $6 - Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation

(shipping is the same for up to 4 counters)

  2. Are there any left past the wait list? I've got an "nterested in 6" from Josh Schisser, the Detachment Leader of the Imperial Officers' Corps. He's not home right now, or he'd post himself.

    --Jonah

I'm nearing the end of them, but there is enough for Josh.

I will add him to the list.

Had I known there was an Imperial Officers Corps forum I would have started with the cylinders there.

I've shipped out nearly 500 of them already just between here and the RPF. I never had a slowdown in sales to reach out to other groups.

  3. Please note I have revised international shipping costs.

I was going over my detailed receipts from the post office and realized I had underestimated last time.

If you already paid you're fine. Any new estimates I gave out in the last few days should be accurate.

Any present/future orders should refer to the updated prices in the first post.

    Thanks!

    Chris

  4. Just caught the update on RPF - and learned that there was a thread over here too.

I think that GundamZeppelin was organizing counts for a couple of members of my garrison,

so I'm not sure if these are a duplication or not:

Thanks, I will check with GundamZeppelin.

The cylinders all arrived safe and sound Monday and now I have one more option.

Some extra cylinders came in their own cans (same as big cans but slim single dosimeter version - see pic in first post).

I'm only selling about 30 of these single can versions (keeping a few for myself because they're neat)

    - $22 each includes 1 cylinder in slim can.

All cans will affect international shipping quotes in the first post.

    US Priority shipping is unaffected.

I am NOW TAKING PAYMENTS again.

If you know your total you may send Paypal payment to chris@christrevas.com

PLEASE include your board name and whitearmor.net so I may mark you off the list.

Any questions on your total or if you need a shipping quote please PM me.

    Thanks!

  5. Actually, I have good news!

More dosimeters are currently on their way to me from the UK.

I should have them within the week.

There will be enough to cover everyone on the wait list and then some.

There are few more in this shipment than before, but this is it - my source is out.

Over half are spoken for already between this wait list and one other on therpf.com.

I will start taking payments again when they arrive.

If you've changed your mind and want off the list let me know.

Please PM me or post here if you want to be added to the list or update quantities.

Would anyone be interested if I offered the original dosimeter storage canisters? I was going to offer them before, but didn't think there would be enough to go around, with this next shipment there should be enough for everyone who wants one - I think.

As far as I know they weren't used as props or set dressing (that I've noticed anyway). They're just cool metal canisters. They have a thick blue rubber band around them with all the model info in raised letters. Inside are two round blocks of foam rubber. Each can held 5 dosimeters.

    $4 each

When ordered with dosimeters International orders would need to add $1-2 for shipping the added weight (US orders - no extra since it stills falls under the minimum weight charge for Priority Mail).

  6. You already got and tacitly responded to my PM (by putting me on the list), but what are things shaping up to be with the POSW site? It's been a tremendous resource for a lot of us already. But there are a lot of holes. What have you found since it was last updated? What's still an unknown? Is there going to be a forum or similar for people to add discoveries they've made? :)

    --Jonah

I'd like to update the site. I know it REALLY needs it. There are lots of new discoveries to add.

We just haven't had any time to do anything about it. Chris Reiff and I both have been very busy on official licensed Star Wars projects like the Ultimate Blueprints and Essential Guide book series.

  7. Wow, that list grew quick in a day!

Please note I'm putting a hold on the list for the moment.

You can PM or post to be added to the list, but I'm not sure how many I have left.

Please don't pay automatically anymore (unless you're in the top 9 and haven't paid yet).

I will PM the next people in line when I know I have enough cylinders.

Don't worry I should be getting more (the last of them) soon, but I don't know exactly how many and I don't want to take any more money until I know I have product on hand to deliver.

    Thanks!!!

  8. It was suggested that I introduce myself here since I have so few posts and I just added a thread in the For Sale area:

    ------------

This is probably a little overdue. :)

    So 'Hi' All!

For those who don't know me I started a website called The Parts of Star Wars (www.partsofsw.com) several years ago. The site goes into describes how the original Star Wars trilogy props were made from found objects (guns, camera flashes, grenades, mechanical counters, hairdryers, etc). A lot of other websites reference The Parts of Star Wars quite frequently. I know it's in need of a major update. It's still a great source for info, but I have lots more in my head that I'd like to post up (the research never stops!).

The reason I haven't had much time to work on the site is that my full time career is also Star Wars related.

I'm an official artist for Star Wars (since 1995) working on various games, magazines, books, limited edition prints etc. Most recently you might know my work from the Essential Guide series (New Essential Guide to Alien Species, Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force) or the Star Wars Blueprints: The Ultimate Collection. You might also know my design for the Stormtrooper lightsaber which became official canon in The Star Wars Insider story 'Two-Edged Sword' by Karen Traviss (illustrated by me).

You may have also read my article series in the Star Wars Insider called 'Set Piece' featuring behind the scenes info about the movies and props.

The Replica Prop Forum (www.therpf.com) is my usual online hangout where my online ID is also "lonepigeon". I'm not a costumer, but I collect and build all sorts of Star Wars props - blasters, lightsabers, helmets, droid heads, etc.

I came across this forum when TK_MD asked me for my opinion on some Hengstler counters he had found. Since I run The Parts of Star Wars and I've found and sold several vintage counters in the past I'm considered to be somewhat of an expert in the field of Star Wars prop parts.

Occasionally, when I run across a large supply of vintage Star Wars parts I've offered them up for sale as is the case here. I found a large supply of original dosimeters that are a dead on match to those used in the original trilogy. I want to make sure to spread the word to all the prop collectors and 501st costumers I can - which brought me here again. I don't know if there's a forum/group specifically for Imperial Officers, but I figured there's lots of cross-over. I've only recently been learning more about my local Great Lakes Garrison (Michigan), but I'm not a member yet - maybe honorary one day as I'm usually busy exhibiting in the artist area during conventions (like all the Star Wars Celebrations and Star Wars Fan Days in Dallas).

    So I guess that's me in a nutshell. :)

You can also visit my portfolio website:

    www.christrevas.com

to see some of the professional Star Wars work I've done.

A little about my prop collection.

I collect a bit of everything, but almost all Star Wars and mostly original trilogy focused.

No costumes yet, but I have a MR Ep3 Clone Trooper helmet and MR Fett helmet. I'm just about done with my nearly all real parts E-11 finally - only the cylinders on the mag well are replicas, which I hope to change for real one day. I have MANY other props in progress like a ESB Fett blaster rifle (again mostly real parts) and an IG-88 bust (real head and some real parts, fiberglass shoulders). I have many other lightsabers and blasters and a few more droid heads in progress too (C-3PO, 2-1B and CZ-3).

  9. Good idea Daetrin!

  11. Those are really nice counters and a nice price!

The metal sockets are EXTREMELY rare these days. I sold all mine years ago.

I have a couple eagle logo counters left, but no sockets.

If anyone buys one of these and wants to change it to the eagle version you can PM me.
