Hi! I did a search and could not find any answears that matched my question so here it goes I have the movie accurate aerators to my new ap helmet and I painted the outside black with humbrol so far so good... Now my 2 questions: 1. I got a square mesh to the aerators and i have no idea how to best cut them to the right size and how to assemble them, should I use glue or will the stay in place by them self? 2. Should i paint the inside white or leave it with the white/yellow resin color? thanks Andreas

I shaked it and shaked it and then shaked it a bit more.....what do you know...the color changed to a more greyone Thanks for the tips

Yepp i wait 1 day between the layers... Will add anotherone tomorrow and if that doesent become darker i will just leave it with this color

Thank good there is more that have had this prob... I was thinking of going down to the store and return the crap..... This picture is when i have painted it 3 times....i dont know if ill have to paint it more? but this is a very water like color...dont like it at all....i tried to paint the ab buttons but the color just ran of it....yuukk

Just painted the frown and the vocoder...looks like the vocoder is ready after only one paint...however the grey Humbrol color was crap comparing to the black one...the black was so much thicker... Can I use carwax (turtle wax) on fx armor? does it harm the armor or is it a good idea? thanks

Hi! I thought my new fx armor was all nice and white until i bought an ap helmet and some replacement bells, now i think it is more of an blue/grey white color. Can i spraypaint the whole armor if i find a color simular to the ap helmet i have? If so do I have to sand the armor or is it just to clean it and spray? Will it last or will it crack when parts moves? Thanks for answear Andreas

Im soon finish with my fx armor but today i feelt that i wanted to to some on the helmet, so here is todays work , The eyes is finished and the frown i have started on. i dont think i am going to open the eyes more, i looked at starwars helmets and saw bigturcs helmet and i really think that one is gorgeous and i think the eyes is pritty close, what do you guys say..open more or stay with it? thanks Andreas

Thanks mate for the aswear! I have yet another ? and then i am going to start posting pic on the build I have tried to paint some buttons that i got with the fx kit but man the were like glass and the color did not seem to want to attatch to the surfice, so I am going to paint the frown with the humbrol dark admiral grey on the ap helmet....will i have to do somthing or is it just to paint straight at the abs, I have looked around at pictures here on the forum and that is what i THINK i supose to do so I am just doublechecking ( dont want to mess up the ap helmet ) thanks again I hope this help mate

Another question What is best to use on my ap helmet, should i paint the decals or buy stickers? i want the anh style but mine was deliverd with esb/rotj decals. Which is best in the long run? thanks / Andreas

Well well well...look what the cat drough in who would have known, i will def NOT buy from that pedo...i am going to buy the caboots.. And for the pedo...he should have a blaster where the sun don shines.....( If i get banned for saying that then i would prob not be here in the first place ) Thanls for the warning

Wow thanks for the warning...that seems to be an really crappy man... Now foor the boots: It says that there are some stains on the boots, anyone bought and know if one will see it? And does it really take 10 weeks to get them? brgds Andreas

Am I going to glue the eye brow list? or is it going to be "loose", if i glue shall I use a hot glue gun? that question goes for the "s" shaped list under the helmet to? thanks /Andreas

Hi ! I am new here and i might have missed it when i did the search (in that case i am sorry for asking ), I found alot of ref. on how to drill out the holes and on painting but i did not fin any guide on which order i should assemble the helmet, can someone please help me with this....when i am finish with the faceplate, wich order and how do i assemble the rest? One more ?: I have not joined the local 501 yet ( i will when i am finished) and i was wondering if i want the TK look but want to have a sandtrooper eyebrow on the helmet, is that going to cause any prob when applying? and if i want a higher brow should i use sandpaper or cut of a bit of the top of the helmet then? thanks for answear brgds Andreas and sorry for my english
