I can't wait myself. Is there a chance there will be a page showing the different types/makes and final builds of the armor. I'd really love to see some completed builds in one place.
"Every Things is coming together as planned"..................AWESOME!!!
-
This looks great. What is the brand name for this drawer guide? Thanks for the info.
-
Okay I have a question, What about shipping from the other way? From the UK to US. What kind of taxes or any other fees are there if I order something from the UK? I've been really thinking of getting some armor from someone in the UK and was wondering what added costs there might be.

This is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Absolutely fantastic. Now you have to tell us how you did it.

For those who think in these terms, while the black skin was cool looking we noticed a marked drop in traffic
Hey don't blame the color!!! LOL!!!!
This new design is fantastic.
-
Hey Bill, I just gotta say that your TX suit is viscious looking!!!!
Thanks Tom for the note. The Spec Ops is in the process of working on a Visual CRL and soon I think things will be lined out better for the boys in black. Hey nothing wrong with being a little vicious............Right?
-
Fantastic! Will this be the armor offered from now on if you were to order from TM. Or is this just a special order? The High Gloss ABS looks awesome.

Would these glow in the dark?? Just askin..............

Hey dudes, It's back. The new skins will be forthcoming. Hold tight!
Hey gotta love the temp skin. Nice shade of black!! LOL!

Hang in there, he returned my PM. Just give him some time.

Awesome improvement, Looks nice. Keep the pictures coming.

Absolutely fantastic, thanks for the great pictures and details. This make picking my next armor much easier. Also what a great improvement over the old FX armor. Looks great and will help many a new Trooper out.

So is the Stealth Trooper not part of Spec Ops?
No it is part of Spec Ops. There is no EIB status (or equivalent) over there right now.
-
I think it's something we didn't think about when we put the EIB together. My take would be that a canvas belt would be EIB, but a shiny leather one be OK for CRL.
Or, if the intent is to have the model be a shiny belt than the patent leather is the way to go for sure.
The problem is that there have never been any real TX suits made for film. My $.02 would be to allow leather for CRL, canvas for EIB just for consistency across stormtrooper based costumes.
Good points on both accounts. I went with the shiny because the rest of my armor is so shiny. I thought it just went well with it. I know that one of the problems is the reference for this armor wasn't in any movies so it's hard to get a good reference. I'm aware of the movie belts and canon, but since mine was so shiny just a shiny belt made since.
I'm willing to get a canvas belt and see what it would look like. I'm sure it will look fine. I know over at the Spec Ops right now this whole EIB is under discussion. I hope they will come to agreement and see that a EIB type status just adds to the hobby and really is just for fun.
For me the whole reason to armor up was to help out with charities and to have some fun. EIB or not I'm still having fun.
Thanks again,

TK EIBs use canvas, on my TX I used black duck cloth
Ok let me know what you think I can work on getting another belt if need and make it black.
I would like to Thank You all again for even suggesting a Honorary EIB for the Stealth.

P.M. sent also for info,
Thanks

Here are a couple more pictures so you can get a better idea maybe,
Side pieces that I used sign plastic and material glued onto for the gaps
My BFG made out of bass wood I carved before painting,
It is still able to be taken apart for transport and storage. All the parts I made so it slips together and the main barrel holds it all together. I do still need to get my pouches but it is fun to troop with. I know it's not required for EIB, I'm just throwing this in for fun.
Thanks everyone for looking,
Honorary EIB.............almost there..............?

Outstanding TX! I think the only items that are not clear are the side gaps and ensuring we can see the split butt plate.
Otherwise I think you've got all the bases covered.
I'd like to point out for those that are unsure that:
1. No, FISD is not covering Stealth Trooper
2. This is an honory program for our Stealth brothers until such time as they their own "elite" program up and running
As our own XO - SuperTrooper - is also a TX I'd like to ask that he review this to for a final thumbs up.
Here is a picture of the sides, I thought you might get a better picture with it off and you can see how I attached it. Also a picture of the split butt plate.
Unsnapped
Wide Open and shows some of my suspension belting.
Also my belt is made from a leather belt that I stitched a cover made from the same material I used to cover the side gaps. It stretches to a tight fit when its on. Held on with velcro in the front and then snaps hold the rest on.
Good question on the holster, it is looped and I like to wear it on the left. I'm not sure if it's required (ANH or ESB) since I'm a TX. (Just checked the requirements and as of now it states"* Holster may be attached via ESB style instead of ANH style" ) I just thought with the Hasbro it looked cool on the left.
Hope I'm on the right track. I know this is only a honory program, but i would like to be one of the first to try.
Thanks again guys.

For your consideration, I would like to try for the status of EIB.
Let me know what I need or any suggestions. Here we go, most of these pictures you may have already seen. It is a challenge to get good pictures I hope you can see what is needed.
Hand painted stripes, no decals here.
Sides are closed in no gap.

Thanks everyone for looking.

Way to go. I really need to get my ATA helmet finished off. Yours turned out great.
And your right these buggers are hard to get a good photo of.

Great pictures Tiffanie,
Looks like the crowd really had a good time and the troops too. Someone once told me that Trooping is what it is all about. (She was right!)
Good Job!

Thanks Tom, I tried to keep it in the spirit of ANH armor, just black.............
I'm in the process of trying to get a TK together. I'll be posting how that goes as "I Move Along"... Couldn't resist that one. LOL!
Thanks for the comp
That's one deadly lookin' suit you got there Bill!!!! Blackhole armor...WOW!!!! man Four thumbs up -
The tabs are just from the pull. Has nothing to do with the helmet. It's just where the plastic has bunched up in the vacuum forming process. Just sand it down and you're good to go.
I don't know the make either but it looks to be a nice lid.
My 2 cents.

Here is another shot I'm not sure if I have posted. Hard to get a good picture of the Shadow.

You are doing a very smooth build. It looks awesome! What brand of snaps are those on the butt plate bottoms. They have smooth backs and look very screen accurate.
Looking good keep the pictures coming. God I Love TM Armor!
