Had my event last night. I'm definitely going to have to go with wired ear buds. The delay on my voice while trying to talk to the people around me was extremely annoying. It even made me second guess what I was saying. lol And I may eventually want to move the mics to my helmet. I could hear every movement and squeak of my armor. I have another troop next week, but a break after that. So I'll work on moving those after that event.

Not to hijack this thread, but this morning I took some time to test spots on the armor to place the mics. I initially put them up in the chest plate, but they picked up waaaay too much of my vocal speaker. So I moved them down near my waist, and it seems to work great. I played some music from my phone to see how much I could turn up the volume and still hear my surroundings on top of my mic. I have a troop this weekend that I can really test it out on, but I think it will work great. Here's what I did. Obviously I'm going to need to clean up the cables and get the mics permanently installed with some sort of hooks or Velcro. I'm using a Bluetooth transmitter to earbuds that I'll wear under my balaclava. There is a slight delay, but I don't think it'll bother me. Worst case, if it does, I'll run some wired earbuds.

I know I’m bringing back an old thread, but I found this when I was looking for something else. Not sure if you’ve fixed your thigh armor issue, but I was having the same problem with the thighs I bought with a used kit. The belt would slip down, allowing the thighs to slip too. So I bought tactical suspenders that have straps with hooks that go around the belt. I tighten those as much as I can while still being comfortable, and the thigh armor stays right in place.

I'll work on it soon! The kit I bought was previously Centurion graded

I ended up purchasing “tactical” suspenders to attach to the belt that holds up the thigh armor, so I can synch that up to the proper height. I just need to experiment with the best way to spread the shoulder bells open a little more to not pinch into my upper chest

I picked up the kit yesterday and test fitted it this morning. I have some very minor adjustments to make (mainly the thigh armor and the shoulder bells), and need to get used to what snaps go where, but overall this fits great!

Good morning legionaries! My name is Chris. I'm based in Buffalo NY and a member of the Nickel City Squad and Garrison Excelsior. I've been a member for a couple years now with a Line Officer, but have been a part of our local Fan Force for 15+ years. I have a few non legion costumes, and am purchasing a TK kit in the next couple of weeks. A member of our garrison is selling his Anovos TK and it should be a perfect fit for me. It's been a dream to troop as a TK for many years now, and I'm happy to finally be in a position to get a kit.
