Former Clone Wars Republic Admiral and natural born Mandalorian who fled Mandalore with his Coruscant born mother and Mandalorian native father, as a refugee, when he was a boy.

He is a current Imperial Stormtrooper Captain and Imperial Staff Officer.

Brief History

 
Captain Ry' Kerr (then Admiral Ry' Kerr) received a Court Martial and demotion from Admiral to Lieutenant after indirectly refusing to send his Fleet to destroy the Corellian Corvette of a well-known Jedi General during the infamous Order 66. He was stripped of his fleet, rank & service medals, Battle Cruiser, and ultimately his pride. 

Had he not saved Darth Vader's life once (as Anakin Skywalker) during the Clone Wars by taking an incoming blaster bolt for him, he may have been stripped of his life as well. Lord Vader, in fact, told him, "You should be honored you witnessed my weakness as Skywalker, your lungs may not draw breath otherwise, Admiral." Before sending him to the new Imperial Academy to be "reconditioned" and stripped of everything he'd worked for his entire career.

Over the years Lieutenant Ry' Kerr worked his way back up the ranks, obtaining the rank of High Moff through his expert tactician efforts, only to be demoted YET AGAIN, for his constant defiance of Grand Admiral Thrawn's sadistic and brutal methods of running his Fleet and patrol sectors.

Until Grand Admiral Thrawn is relieved of his position or is KIA, Captain Ry' Kerr will remain near the Outer Rim, ironically near Mandalore, patrolling a sector with some of the worst outlaws and anti-Empire colonies imaginable. Thanks to Grand Admiral Thrawn's pull with the Emperor.

The main good that comes from all this negativity, is Captain Ry' Kerr has maintained his morality, somewhat, and gained a FIERCE reputation for running a Elite squad that is lethal only when required... unlike Thrawn.

Most Bounty Hunters and Mercs know the name of Captain Ry' Kerr and his squad, and steer clear of the Pale Vipers as they've come to be known. Get too close to the snake, you might just get bit.

Captain Ry' Kerr now spends his remaining days near the Outer Rim, earning Credits from the locals, and getting a taste of revenge, by keeping Thrawn's men chasing their tails with "anonymous tips" for "New Republic soldiers" that always seem to escape at the last minute! Keeping the Empire busy and OUT of the local's Spice business.

All of the Spice Lords also know NOT to step over their limits, as Ry' Kerr is STILL an Imperial Officer and can easily have their entire operations shut down, permanently. Ry' Kerr does not allow women and children to be harmed, nor do the Pale Vipers allow the Spice Runners to sell Spice to women and children. Violation of this has cost many Spice Runners their lives.

Its an honest day's worth of work, and earns the Captain some extra credits for retirement.
