Hey thanks for the "heads up". My boxes are 2 3/4 tall and the CRL states the belt should be 1/8 to 1/4 larger top and bottom. This how I came to the 3 inch belt. I am ordering some white ABS so I will work it out. Thanks!

My question is the height measurement on the belt teeth that fit in the gaps of the abdomen. Look about half
an inch but would like a more sure answer. Not mentioned in the CRL....thanks Ben

I had to build up the back for the grove on the hand guards.....850 armor doesn't have them when made....

Also worked on the back plate. Added the 5/16" ( 8mm) hole and the ( tabs ) under the rear pockets.

My second mock up looks better.

My reinforced bridges work great and I used my heat gun to bend and twist them to a better shape. I may need to do
more but we will see as I progress.

Here is some more on my Chest/Back plate combo. I reinforced behind the front pocket because the plastic is thin and started to warp.

In the CRL for the back plate under centurion it says tabs on the bottom of the shoulder bridge pockets. The pic looks like slots. Thoughts? Thanks Ben

Reinforced the bridges today, waiting for them to dry. I mocked it up with more distance at the top and the bottom lined up much more like the CRL pic.

Here is the mock up of my chest and back plate. I think 2 inches is too far under the shoulder bridge and I think the width of the tabs under the mounting slots needs to be the same....All thoughts and opinions on this are welcome! Thanks to all for the help....

Hey everyone, found some time to work my armor. Got the chest and back trimmed out, now on to the pesky shoulder straps. I am definitely looking at all the posts to see how to do this if you have any faves or recommendations please feel free to let me know!

Hey thanks for the advise. The reason I asked is all the gaps around the pieces of armor and how the paint will look ....Not reaching into the gaps. Maybe white primer then the gloss. Not sure

My question is sniper knee and thigh ammo pack before or after paint. I already decided the front torso details will be painted before mounting. This forum is awesome and I have learned so much on this adventure. Thanks to all Ben

Slow but sure! Thighs are done, this is how i went about fixing the 850AW right thigh problem. you can see the gap in a past post. I have read some others have this problem, bad pull or mold? Anyway starting on my greaves.......

Finished the shoulder straps and will mount bells soon. Almost ready to wear the full kit minus belt for first time! Will be able to adjust fit and post some preliminary pics! Then paint!
