  1. Thanks, Roger that! [emoji1303][emoji1303] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

  3. Just a quick post of my belt progress. I have also been playing about with my drop boxes; I've installed a small magnet and filed down a single nut & bolt for each box, stuck with E6000 and used white cloth tape as a hinge. I've seen a couple of build thread doing a simular thing to store bank cards, small phone etc. Whilst trooping. Let me know what you think? (Nothing has been attached to the belt yet). Cheers, Martyn. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks TKSpartan, appreciate the reference pics. I will make the adjustments and post my results once done. [emoji1591][emoji41][emoji1591] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  5. Hi troopers, I what to start on my TK belt. Do the dimensions I've marked out look correct? Many thanks, Martyn. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  6. Most of the work recently has been on the main body parts. All trimmed and brackets installed. I haven't installed the elastic to the brackets yet (temporarily held together with Velcro strips). Any thoughts on what I've missed or need to address? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  7. Belt drop box trimmed: I have trimmed and also marked where I should be attaching the ammo box elastic, does this look correct? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  8. I've not posted any of my progress for a while, so here goes; Left thigh: I had trouble with this as my thighs are larger than 1970's movie extras. I still need to attach the ammo pack using split rivits and trim a little more out of the return edges. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  9. Just Awesome! This lid looks as if it really could protect a troopers head from the rebel scum! [emoji1591][emoji41][emoji1591] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  10. Is it just me or is the trooper on the left missing their tube stripes? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  11. As a Star wars fan, my favourite droid is R2D2. Put that with the first three letters of my first name Martyn. MAR2D2. I also thought is was a clever play on star wars themed names. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  12. Great job. Really enjoyed wathching this build. The glossy shine is impressive in natural light and your hand painted tube stripes look awesome.[emoji1303] I tried free hand painting my tube stripes a few times but could never get them looking that good. I ended up buying templates from Ross @RWA (cheers Ross) which I couldn't be happier with the way they turned out.[emoji1303] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks Dan. [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  14. It's been a while since I last posted on here. In that time I have been looking at as many build threads and gallery pics to make my TK Lid more stunt looking (raised brow) rather then hero looking. I know It's down to personnel preference, but after reading a post by 'CableGuy' I felt I would prefer a slightly higher brow. Let me know what you other troopers think of my lid. Before and after pics. (Apologies for the poor lighting). Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  15. I received my Doopydoos E-11 kit last week. [emoji16] I have looked at a lot of Doopydoos E-11 builds on here, CableGuy's in my opinion is one of the best builds out there. I see that a lot of troopers have also purchased the Tino' s (T-Jays) conversion kit. I would like to try and source these parts my self and was wondering if any troopers had the sizes for the various screws, bolts, tubing etc? Thanks in advance. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks for the tip Rob . T.[emoji1303] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  17. Hi Dan, I have taken pics of my bucket and would really appreciate your comments. I would like to install my S-trim but worried that I have either trimmed off too much or not enough. I am still to sort out getting tube strip templates. Cheers, Martyn. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  18. Hi Dan, I have finally started my WIP on the UKG site. I would be grateful if you had a look, it is very simular to my FISD thread. I still have some updating to do on both, but hope to get back on track soon. Cheers, Martyn. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  19. Hi Dan, I have removed the tube stripes a would be grateful if you could recommend a template/stencil supplier, as stated in you post. I found that the paint came off relatively easy with some white spirit and good old elbow grease. I haven't had a chance to take any new pics of my lid. (family and work commitments always interrupt my fun). Many Thanks, Martyn.
  20. Hi Dan, Thank you for your post. I will take pics of my lid as suggested, I will also put the ears on. With regards to photos I've been using as a reference for my build. I have been using the FISD gallery (OT TK ANH Stunt). I have also used RS Propmasters youtube videos, and other build threads on FISD forums. [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  21. I have also trimmed the brow slightly to straighten it out and trimmed around the base of the helmet, ready for installing the rubber 'S' trim. I'm nervous about cutting the final length for my rubber trim, as if any other trimming of the helmet base would make the trim too sort! I would really appreciate other troopers comments on my progress so far.[emoji16][emoji1303][emoji1304]? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  22. I have found it really difficult to get the decals straight, may need to redo them in the future. What do other troopers think? Please let me know. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  23. After a few minor trims and adjustments, I will touch up the paint work and add the vent stripes and paint the ear screws white. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  24. I've added mesh behind the teeth. I have used white gaffa tape for now, until I fi d a better way of attaching. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  25. The bottom ear screw seem low down, but is accurate to the RS lid. My question is. If I was to move the bottom screw up the ear slightly (as shown on other ANH lids)? This would help close the gap, also the screw as it currently sits would end up almost hidden by the "S" trim. Would moving the bottom screw effect centurion level 3 status? Many thanks in advance.
